Hey Srinvas, I have something to add to your conversation about “Picking Our Brains.” You and me babe get asked all the time by people to “Pick Our Brains” ( I call it a #BrainDownload) – why? Because we have taken action and created really successful audiences. They want to duplicate what we did, BUT they want help with it we did not get.
Now I am all for working smarter not harder. I do that every time I chunk down my money to take a workshop, hire an expert or even buy a book. Over the past 20+ years I have invested over $250,000 in my business education.
Yes, I have had mentors who did not charge me for their help. Yet, it was a reciprocal relationship or they were adding to their legacy of giving back like someone had given them. Thing is everyone wants to be that “person” to get mentor-ship and between the two of us, we can’t devote that many hours to the folks who want and need help.
- How are you leveraging our intellectual property?
- How are you leveraging what we have produced to be a channel to give back?
- How are you taking action on what we created in front of you right now?
AHHHH, so the key is you want to be spoon feed? Grow a pair! No one spoon feed Richard Branson, or Tony Hsieh, or Brad Feld, or Michele Price. We all got very clear on what we wanted to accomplish and like Srinivas and myself – we took action.
- We took action and had some successes
- We took action and made mistakes
- We took action some people liked it
- We took action and some folks told us we were nuts
- We took action and now further down the road to our goals.

Those are the questions a successful entrepreneur asks.
Right now I am going back to work on both client work and continuing to build my online footprint. Yup, it takes feeding, just like a baby growing up. Remember as teenagers how we went through a grow spurt? That is where Srinvas and I are right now.
He has gotten 70,000 download on his blog in a month.
I have gotten 21,000+ listens on this ONE radio show.
